Using Student Data to Identify Skill-Specific Interventions

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

At Charlestown Primary School, a small rural school with 240 students in southwestern New Hampshire, we employ MTSS for academics using NWEA MAP data and a variety of informal assessments. Teachers and administrators collaboratively analyze assessment data and place students into skills-based groups designed to meet students’ individual needs. We have put structures into place to support this important work, such as making our schedule more efficient to allow blocks of time for small group instruction and carving out time for our teams to meet on a regular basis to evaluate data, discuss student growth, and make instructional adjustments. During this presentation and roundtable discussion, we will share our methods, structures, strategies, challenges, and goals. We hope for a mutually engaging and meaningful discussion!
